Xandria,
Thank you for your thoughts.....much to think about here.
i know many of us have had relationship issues and many are looking for relationships very vigorously.
now that you know you are ready, how do you find a partner who is the right person for a committed, loving relationship?
if you are in fact ready for a relationship, you should ask yourself the following questions upon meeting someone: "are you (my potential partner) ready for a committed relationship?

I have also read this book from start to finish....great book!! I could really relate to her struggles of "should I stay ,or should I go".
i just bought a sharp compact digital viewcam, and i cant get it to transfer the pictures onto my computer.
i am not too computer savy, so that is part of the problem.
i've gone over and over the manual, but i still can't get it to transfer!
Thanks all of you!! I'm going to try what Bendrr suggested...that sucks! It's brand new and it should be doing strange things, right? It does have a manual, but it is very vague. I'll figure it out...I usually do. I'm sure the information you all gave me will help. Again, thanks!

I did install the USB driver with the CD that came with the camera, so that isn't it.
Does anyone have a clue? I was so excited too, thinking that I finally get to share some pictures with all of you. Now I'm sad.
I appreciate any suggestions you want to throw at me. Thanks!

I am a cat lover too, but I still couldn't help laughing!!
the fear of rejection has once again controlled my life and my actions in an unintentional act of self destruction brought on by how i was raised to view life.
i have come to the conclusion that i will probably be battling this psychological whirlpool of self sabotage for the rest of my life and i do not think i have the ability to completely eliminate it.
talking about it here is a start.
((((((DAVE)))))))
All the time we talked...I had absolutley no idea! I feel as though I have failed you as a friend! I just can't express the pain I'm feeling for you right now....
You have always listened to me when I have needed somebody to hear me out, and you never once gave me any inclination of your own pain. I'm so sorry I didn't pick up on that, and I didn't realize what a demon you are fighting.
I don't have the answers for you, but I do want to have a listening ear. Like you said, sometimes that seems to help...just getting it out of your system. This posts is your first step to admitting your feelings about rejection, and I hope it brings you some comfort. Hun, I am your friend and there is no need to feel rejection from me, as I expect very little.

things i saw as a jw:.
* the "f" word spelled out on the information board in the back of the hall.
the person used the tacks used for posting letters and talks and spelled out the expletive.
Mine isn't as good as all the others, but I do remember one incident I would like to add to this post.
I was standing at the back of the foyer in the kindom hall during a talk when a sister just came out of the ladies room. Her skirt was tucked into her panty hose all up around her behind! The funniest part was she wasn't wearing underwear, so her whole big A@@ was visible!!
I was nice enough to let her know that she best go in and rearrange herself.....
hello all, i am an exjw just trying to figure out whether this is a projw site or not.
i grew up in the cincinnati, oh area, father was (and still is) an elder.
